1-800 Plumber +Air of Cleveland is looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber who takes pride in their work and wants the opportunity to control their income through performance. This role is ideal for an experienced plumber who wants consistent work, strong operational support, and the ability to earn more by delivering quality solutions and excellent service.
This position is fully commission-based with additional performance incentives. Earnings are directly tied to productivity, job quality, and the solutions provided to customers. Journeyman plumbers who perform at a high level routinely earn well above traditional hourly roles. Full details of the commission structure and incentive opportunities will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualified candidates who are hired will be eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus. Bonus payout details and eligibility requirements will be reviewed during the interview and onboarding process.

As a Journeyman Plumber, you will perform residential and light commercial plumbing service, repair, and installation work. You will diagnose plumbing issues, present repair and replacement options, and complete high-quality, code-compliant work. Typical work includes fixtures, piping repairs, water heaters, drain and sewer work, and general plumbing service calls.
• Perform residential and light commercial plumbing service and repair work
• Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Present repair and replacement options clearly and professionally
• Repair, replace, and install plumbing systems and fixtures
• Perform water heater repairs and replacements
• Address drain and sewer issues as part of service work
• Ensure all work meets plumbing code and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Properly document work performed and materials used
• Maintain a clean and professional job site
• Represent the company with professionalism at all times
• Journeyman-level plumbing experience required
• Valid plumbing license preferred where applicable
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes
• Ability to manage service calls independently
• Valid driver’s license required
• Physically capable of performing hands-on plumbing work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must pass background check and drug screen
